This six-week series offers a supportive space to connect with other pregnant people while preparing your body, mind, and nervous system for birth and early parenthood.
Each class begins with a 20–30 minute educational conversation focused on a specific birth-related topic, followed by a 60-minute prenatal yoga practice. After class, you’re invited to stay for tea, ask questions, and share reflections in a relaxed, community-oriented setting.
The series is facilitated by Erica, a trained doula with experience supporting clients through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Her approach blends practical education, embodied awareness, and compassionate support.
This class is suitable for all bodies and all stages of pregnancy, including those with no prior yoga experience. The movement practice focuses on functional, pregnancy-safe strengthening of the core and pelvic floor to help reduce the risk of diastasis recti, bladder leaks, and prolapse. You’ll also learn how to safely modify other yoga classes or movement practices you may participate in outside this series.
Throughout the program, we’ll work with breath to regulate the nervous system and calm the mind, explore yoga postures that ease common pregnancy discomforts, and use meditation to support the emotional transition into parenthood. Each class concludes with a guided relaxation and visualization designed to reduce fear, build confidence, and deepen connection with your baby.
Weekly topics include:
Week 1: Pelvic anatomy and baby positioning
Week 2: The stages of labour
Week 3: The fear–tension–pain cycle and pain relief options
Week 4: Breathing techniques for labour
Week 5: Labour and birth positions
Week 6: Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and planning for the postpartum period
Tuesdays, 7-8:30pm

Get to know your postpartum body and connect with your breath in a baby-friendly class with other new parents. Parents will move, breathe and practice self-care, while keeping your baby close. Taught by a doula and experienced mother of 3, this class will help you find some calm in the beautiful chaos of the fourth trimester and beyond.
This class is beginner friendly and variations will be given for all body types and fitness levels. We will focus on breathing and functional movement for the core and pelvic floor for those with diastasis recti, bladder leaks, prolapse, and other common postpartum issues - and we will prepare your body to safely return to other yoga classes and movement practices. The practice is designed for the birthing person’s postpartum body (6 weeks postpartum or in consultation with your care provider), but all parents are welcome and will benefit. All babies are welcome, but parents often find class is easier when they are pre-crawling.
Please bring a blanket or play mat for your baby to lie on during class, as well as any other baby items you may need (diaper bag, toys, nursing pillow, baby carrier, etc). You can feed, change, or attend to your baby during class as needed. Erica is also a postpartum doula and is happy to help. This class may not be the quietest, but it will definitely be the cutest!

Birth is an experience you move through together. Having someone beside you who understands what’s happening—and how to help—can make that journey feel calmer, safer, and more connected.
This three-hour workshop is designed for birth partners of all kinds: spouses, grandparents, close friends, or anyone you’ve chosen to support you during labour and birth. It offers thoughtful, practical guidance so your support person can feel confident and present, rather than unsure or overwhelmed in the moment.
We’ll explore the stages of labour, practice gentle and effective comfort measures, and learn breathing and visualization techniques that support both physical comfort and emotional steadiness. The focus is on responsiveness, attunement, and knowing when to step in—and when to simply stay close.
We’ll end the session with a guided Yoga Nidra practice, leaving you both deeply relaxed, grounded, and feeling more prepared for the birth experience ahead.
No yoga experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing, as the workshop includes light movement and hands-on practice.

What we are currently experiencing is not normal- there is a collective trauma and a collective grief that has been shaking the ground beneath us for years, and constantly bracing for the next big disaster keeps your nervous system operating in a state of high alert. Urgency is learned- which means it can be unlearned. In a world where safety and approval are tied to speed and productivity, where overstimulation and dysregulation is the norm, the body learns to rush. We have the power to retrain this pattern through repeated experiences of slowing down while feeling safe, and this incredible group of teachers have come together to offer that to you.
Each bringing their own unique perspective and modalities, but with the common intention to help you come back to calm. This series is intended to be deeply restorative, and is accessible to all levels: come as you are, no experience is required. All offerings will be gentle, floor based, and well supported with lots of cozy props.
