When you take my class, my intention for you is simply to leave the mat feeling a little better than when you stepped onto it. I am both intuitive and compassionate in my teaching. I teach many styles of yoga, from meditative yin to sweaty vinyasa. I love to incorporate breathwork, chanting, music and sound frequencies, and gentle touch (only with your consent) into my classes. I promise to bring authenticity, humour, and a student-focused approach to each class I teach.

  • We had Erica as our prenatal and birth doula this fall. Erica was an incredible support throughout the entire experience. Our questions were always welcomed and met with extra resources, advice or a gentle chat where needed. She is extremely knowledgeable, non-judgmental, kind, accessible, resourceful and very personable. She helped us feel prepared and empowered with information that we were able to use to advocate for our own choices during birth and leading up to the day. I am very happy to have found her support and would highly recommend Erica, she is a true gem!

  • Erica's post-natal yoga is more than stretching! Shes knowledgeable, comforting, and hands on with your baby. She gives you an environment to connect with other like-minded moms, while spending time with your baby and gaining back your strength 🤍

  • I took prenatal yoga with Erica for 12 weeks, up until I was 37 weeks pregnant. I found the classes not only beneficial for my physical health, but Erica also focused on our mental health during pregnancy, labour and delivery. During my own labour I found myself using the breathing techniques I learned in yoga to regroup and focus. She always made herself available to talk to after class, and welcomed any questions. I highly recommended Erica to support any women through their pregnancy.

  • I did a couple sessions of Erica's prenatal class, we were actually pregnant the same time! What I loved the most about her classes was how she discussed how natural of an act child birth is and how she showed us there's more to pelvic floor exercises than kegels! My pelvic floor thanks you!

  • I took Erica’s prenatal yoga classes before the birth of my first child. I found her classes to be a balance of both calming and strengthening exercises. The breathing techniques she taught were something I reverted back to during my labour. Highly recommend.

  • I attended Erica’s prenatal yoga from 10 weeks to 32 weeks pregnant and every class made me feel stronger, more relaxed, and more connected to my baby. Erica creates a very welcoming, non-judgemental space and focuses on yoga poses to help with labour & carrying your little one. She adds a little education to each class and always makes time for each mamma to say a few words before class begins. Pregnancy is hard at times, there are amazing days and days that are so difficult you’re not sure how you’ll make it though, which makes attending a class like Erica’s SO important! Erica also uses some humour throughout her teachings which makes everyone loosen up and not take it all too seriously. When you meet Erica you’ll know immediately why she’s such a unique and awesome yoga instructor and soon to be doula!

  • I did pre & post-natal yoga with Erica with my first child and am now attending prenatal again in my second pregnancy. Erica provides a calm and welcoming environment for both new and experienced yogis and moms/moms-to-be. Prenatal is quite informative while also fun. Erica is able to guide you through poses that you didn’t even realize your pregnant body needed and you always leave feeling better than you arrived. The feeling of community that is established is also a huge help during a time in your life that can be overwhelming. The same can be said for postnatal classes. My son loved going to classes with me. Erica made them special for both of us. My son loved when she’d sing and play music! She made me aware of common symptoms to watch for post-baby and I felt that everything that I did in the class was safe for my recovering body. Erica is a lovely person and teacher whose presence would make anyone feel happy, comfortable and supported. Her interest in pre and postnatal yoga as well as birth support is very evident. I would highly recommend her classes and support in the crazy journey that is having a baby! I’ll obviously be looking forward to round 2 of Mama & baby yoga as well!

  • Erica’s prenatal classes were an integral part of the comfortable pregnancy and delivery I experienced. She guided me through postures that were helpful for my body and for baby’s positioning, and she guided me through mindfulness techniques that kept me grounded and peaceful. In each prenatal yoga class Erica created a warm and inviting environment where expectant mothers could share and bond with each other, week after week. Erica also connected us with inspiring quotes to consider and informative literature to read, all in an environment of support, empowerment, and gentleness. I wholeheartedly recommend Erica to be part of any new mother’s journey.
